Partial Refinement

Partial Refinement is designed for the most efficient kind of update. In this mode, designers and tag owners can update only the part of the experience they care about, instead of changing the whole experience. This makes it a good choice when you want speed, control, and lower AI usage.

Why people use this mode

Use Partial Refinement when only one section or one item needs to change. For example:

• Update one product description
• Change one menu item price
• Edit one CTA
• Replace one image
• Improve one short paragraph
• Adjust one offer without touching the rest of the experience

Manual and AI both work here

This mode supports both manual editing and AI editing. The designer can switch between:

• Manual
• AI
• Design

This gives a flexible workflow, because some updates are faster by hand and some are faster with AI.

Manual update

In manual mode, the designer can click the edit icon on the exact part they want to update. When they click this icon, PeekTag opens the form related to that exact point. That means the designer can directly edit the selected field, item, or content block without opening unrelated sections.

AI update for one area

In AI mode, the designer can click the AI update icon on the part they want to improve. This opens the AI update flow for that selected area. The important part is that AI token usage is limited to the area being updated, not the whole experience. So if only one item or one section changes, the AI only works on that part. This is usually more efficient than a full AI update.

Partial Refinement is often the best balance between control and speed. You can:
