# Overview

> Understand the three main refinement paths in PeekTag and choose the right one for each kind of update.

Refine Experiences is the place where designers and tag owners improve an experience after the first draft is created.

PeekTag supports three main update styles. Each one is useful for a different kind of task.

## Update modes

* [**Manual Refinement**](/editing/manual-editing): Best when you want direct control and need to update exact fields, forms, or structured content by hand.
* [**Partial Refinement**](/editing/partial-updates): Best when you only want to update one section or one item, either manually or with AI, without changing the whole experience.
* [**Full AI Refinement**](/editing/full-ai): Best when you want a broad AI update across a larger part of the experience using one prompt.

<Note>
  A simple way to choose: use Manual for precise edits, Partial for efficient targeted changes, and Full AI for wider updates that affect many parts at once.
