# Google Calendar
> Connect Google Calendar so booking experiences can sync availability and reservations automatically.
Google Calendar lets a booking experience work with a real calendar instead of staying separate from the designer's schedule.
When Google Calendar is connected, PeekTag can use the calendar to help manage booking availability, reservations, and time conflicts automatically.
## What it is used for
Use this connector when an experience includes booking, reservations, appointments, or time-based availability.
For example, a designer can connect Google Calendar for:
* salon appointments
* clinic consultations
* restaurant table booking
* private shopping sessions
* service calls
* events or workshops
## How it helps
After the connector is set up, the booking system can stay closer to the user's real schedule.
This helps avoid manual double entry. The designer does not need to keep checking a separate calendar and updating the experience by hand every time availability changes.
## Booking sync
Booking sync means PeekTag can connect the booking flow with Google Calendar.

## When to connect it
